Introducing the QuickBooks Online (QBO) SatNav: Your Visual Guide to Navigating QBO
What is QBO SatNav and why is it the key to effectively learning QBO?
Just like satellite mapping allows us to zoom in and out for detailed or big picture views, learning QBO requires both perspectives. QBO SatNav serves as your navigation system, enabling you to successfully navigate QBO by zooming in and out as needed. Taking inspiration from satellite mapping, QBO SatNav allows you to zoom in for detailed view or zoom out to grasp the bigger picture of the entire financial system. If you are just starting your QBO learning journey, the QBO SatNav is your indispensable companion.
QBO SatNav breaks down QBO into three main processes: QBO Settings, QBO Transactions, and QBO Reports.
QBO Settings include Company Settings and QBO Chart of Accounts.
QBO Transactions involve recording transactions as input into the financial system. Transaction types can be categorized as Banking, Customers & Sales, Vendors & Expenses, and Employees & Payroll.
QBO Reports are the system's output.
To support your learning, each chapter, project, and comprehensive case comes with a dedicated QBO SatNav. It highlights the specific area of interest in QBO for that particular chapter, project, or case.
